What age range do you work with?
I work with adolescents starting at age 14 (with parental consent until age18) all the way up to the elderly population.
Do you accept health insurance?
These services are not covered by health insurance, but pricing plans are available to lower rates of each session.
Do you help people achieve weight loss?
Weight loss is typically a symptom of reinforcing healthy habits and self-care through hypnotherapy in a way that both increases drive to continue a healthy lifestyle and improves motivation to keep it up.
Do you help people quit smoking?
Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool to achieve smoking cessation. We work to eliminate negative habits by replacing them with healthy ones, offering you an easy, drug free approach to end smoking once and for all.
Do you treat those battling addictions?
Addictions including smoking, alcohol, gambling, porn etc. are symptoms of a much deeper root cause. Once the root cause is unveiled and worked through, and the deeper needs of client are addressed, the desire towards these habits shifts instead to positive behaviors, reinforced with time and conscious awareness.
Can you help me to boost my confidence?
Whether you wish to increase work performance, hone mental focus, boost stage presence, or you are looking to conquer social phobias or public speaking, the combination of Neurolinguistic Programming and hypnotherapy can dramatically improve confidence in these areas.
Will I be able to go into trance with Hypnosis?
How deep you will go while entering the relaxed state of hypnosis varies upon an individual level. The important distinction between my services and traditional hypnotherapy is the combination of Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques, Eye Movement Integration (EMI), and Reiki. These techniques are designed to work in the absence of "trance state". Therefore, everyone is able to benefit from this more Holistic approach, regardless of their level of being clinically "hypnotizable".
What is Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)?
NLP examines the language and thought patterns through communication, that allow you to recognize the way information is stored from a sensory based perspective in order to make groundbreaking changes to the way you feel. NLP allows you to open your perspective, changing your attention and behaviors from what you want don't want, towards what you do.
How many sessions will I need?
At least 6-12 sessions are recommended. Please consult the "Explore Plans" page to see how many sessions would be best to get you to your goals. If still unsure, I recommend choosing the plan with more sessions, because clients typically will continue to come in for maintenance after their package is up and will be locked in at the lowest rate that way.
Should I continue other forms of therapy?
Many of my clients have been to a psychologist or licensed mental health counselor in the past or are actively getting treatment. While some prefer moving through trauma with Hypnotherapy to talking up trauma in traditional talk therapy, these services are not intended as a replacement to talk therapy. Therefore, it is up to the individual's discretion if they find continuing with a licensed mental health counselor to be beneficial. Utilizing both resources side by side can be very helpful for increased self-awareness.
